The Gum Nebula

The Gum Nebula is named after it's discoverer: Mr. Gum. The red effect is caused from the gigantic cloud of Hydrogen Gas. It is supposivly over a million year old remenant of a supernova. It is rather faint though incredibly large, sprawling across the Vela and Puppis constellations. It is seen as a faint grey light to the naked eye.
